The Carpinteria Groundwater Sustainability Agency will hold its next community workshop on Wednesday, Oct. 19, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Lions Park, 6197 Casitas Pass Road. The Carpinteria GSA is a public agency formed by a joint powers agreement between the Carpinteria Valley Water District, City of Carpinteria, Santa Barbara County Water Agency and County of Ventura to sustainably manage the groundwater in the Carpinteria Basin.
