The Carpinteria Community Garden is a vibrant and welcoming space where community members can grow their own food in a healthy and supportive environment. The garden features 100 raised beds, including several 27-inch-high beds designed for individuals with limited mobility.
Managed by the City of Carpinteria, the garden is overseen by a part-time Garden Coordinator who is onsite during the week. In addition to providing space and resources for cultivating nutritious gardens, the Community Garden also offers educational workshops on a variety of topics, including organic gardening, healthy eating, natural history, and sustainability.
Please note: Garden Members are required to lock the gates when leaving to help ensure the security of the space. Non-members are welcome to visit while the garden is open but may be asked to leave when the last Garden Member departs.
