The City of Carpinteria provides Animal Control services within the jurisdictional boundary. Services include dog licensing, stray dog pickup, animal keeping permits, and dog bite and dangerous dog investigations. Wildlife and marine mammals concerns are referred to appropriate agencies that specialize in particular species.
