Carpinteria Community Pool congratulates Leilanie Silva for being selected as our Standout Staff Member for March 2022. Leilanie has been with the city for over five years. She has served many roles from lifeguard to junior lifeguard instructor, swim and water polo head coach, and she is now our full time Aquatics Program Coordinator. Leilanie is motivated, takes initiative and always has her team’s back! She grew up in Carpinteria and enjoys beach days, roller coasters and working out. Her favorite foods are ceviche, tacos and sushi. We are so lucky to have Leilanie as a leader. She has been instrumental in the success of aquatic programs in Carpinteria. Thank you, Leilanie!
