Coastal Commission rezones. On November 6, 2025, the California Coastal Commission (CCC) is scheduled to consider the County of Santa Barbara’s proposed rezone sites in the coastal zone. The sites include the Red Tail Bailard Avenue project site. City staff’s comment letter is available to view below:

Completeness Determination. The County deemed the project application complete on July 19, 2024. On August 30, 2024, the County informed the City of the completeness determination and provided the City an opportunity to comment on the project’s consistency with applicable City policies. City staff’s comment letter with attached technical comments are available to view below:
