The City of Carpinteria is thrilled to welcome Kiely Molina as our new Library Tech! Born in Belize, Kiely has been obsessed with reading and libraries since childhood, when she earned the honor of being the first student to check out a book from her elementary school library.
Kiely earned her B.A. in Art History from UCSB in 2025, where she developed a passion for archives, working with items ranging from screenprints to biological specimens. She is currently pursuing her Master’s in Library and Information Science at San Jose State University.
Outside of her library hours, Kiely loves analog media, crafting, and learning new languages.
