Carpinteria is celebrating National Night Out on Wednesday, Aug. 10 from 6 to 9 p.m. on the 800 block of Linden Avenue. This free community-focused event gives attendees an opportunity to meet and interact with representatives from a variety of agencies that provide law enforcement and other public services. Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office is hosting the fun and educational event where there will be activities for young and old.
