General Plan Update Committee to consider Coastal Commission comments

The next meeting of the City’s General Plan Update Committee (GPUC) will take place on Monday, Oct. 20 at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall, 5775 Carpinteria Ave. At the meeting, the committee will receive an update on California Coastal Commission staff’s comments on the draft Coastal Land Use Plan/General Plan. City staff will summarize Coastal Commission comments and proposed edits from Coastal Commission staff, and the GPUC will discuss and potentially propose changes to the draft CLUP/GP based on these comments. The public is invited to participate in the meeting by attending in person or through Zoom.
