Coming Saturday: Holiday Spirit Parade and much more

The Carpinteria Holiday Spirit Parade is one of many community activities scheduled for downtown Carpinteria on Saturday, Dec. 4. The Rods & Roses Car Show will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Linden Avenue between Carpinteria Avenue and Fifth Street. The parade will begin at 4 p.m., starting on Linden Avenue at Ninth Street and ending at Fifth Street. Additionally, there will be a Rotary Club Pancake Breakfast from 8 to 11 a.m. at the Lynda Fairly Carpinteria Arts Center, 855 Linden Ave., as well as a Holiday Festival in the same location from 1 to 4 p.m. The Lions Club Festival of Trees will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at 700 Linden Ave., and the Parents for Canalino School Holiday Lights Tour will take place from 5 to 9 p.m. Please enjoy all the local festivities while practicing COVID-19 precautions. If you cannot social distance outdoors, be sure to wear a mask to protect yourself and those around you.
