This week, the Carpinteria Architectural Review Board will hold a preliminary review of an exterior building remodel and site renovation of the former bank building at 4994 Carpinteria Ave. to house the Santa Cruz Island Foundation’s new Chrisman California Island Center. The project entails an exterior remodel of the existing building, new signage, new site fencing and reconfiguration of onsite landscaping and parking areas.
