The City of Carpinteria wishes you a happy and safe Independence Day! On Monday, July 4, the City of Carpinteria will close the Community Pool and City Hall in honor of Indepedence Day. The Junior Lifeguard program also will not be held on July 4.
It’s important to remember to celebrate safely this Indepedence Day. Fireworks are illegal. They have the potential to cause grave injury or start disastrous fires. Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office will be patrolling beaches and neighborhoods throughout Carpinteria to ensure that residents and visitors practice a safe Fourth of July holiday. Please do not put yourself and your community at risk by setting off fireworks.
