The County of Santa Barbara will hold a workshop on Tuesday, July 9 to present and discuss proposed updates to flood insurance rate maps by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). The event will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the Planning Commission Hearing Room, Engineering Building, 123 E. Anapamu St. in Santa Barbara. Members of the public are invited to attend the meeting, learn more about the FEMA update process and how proposed maps could impact their property.
