New City of Carpinteria smoking regulations will come before the City Council at its meeting on Monday, June 24, at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall, 5775 Carpinteria Ave. The Council will consider an ordinance that would regulate smoking in multi-unit housing developments and update requirements for tobacco retail signage and smoking prohibitions in hotels in accordance with State law.
