Tickets are now on sale for Girls Inc. of Carpinteria’s freshly formatted Women of Inspiration event on Monday, April 3 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. This year’s Women of Inspiration honorees are City of Carpinteria Planning Commissioner Jane Benefield and Carpinteria Community Library Program Specialist Jena Jenkins. Designed to empower and inspire, the half-day retreat features breakout growth sessions and a community keynote lunch. Renowned comedian and author Katie Goodman will deliver the keynote, and strong, smart and bold professionals Marisol Alarcon, Sonia Aguila, Danielle Bordenave and Lauren Bragg will lead hands-on workshops.
