A special meeting of the City Council, Planning Commission, and Architectural Review Board will be held on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at 5:30 p.m. to review a new conceptual development project at 5885 Carpinteria Ave. The 28-acre site is now occupied by Tee Time golf driving range, farmland and an undeveloped 4.5 acres between the railroad tracks and the blufftop. The proposed project includes 6-7 acres of organic farm, a hotel with a 59-room lodge, 34 bungalows and six cabins; 16 residential units located in a single building; open space and trails; and a restaurant, event space and farm stand designed to serve the community.
