City Council to meet July 10

The Carpinteria City Council will hold its next regular meeting on Monday, July 10 at 5:30 p.m. Members of the public may attend the meeting at City Hall, 5775 Carpinteria Ave. or view the meeting live at https://carpinteriaca.gov/, on Government Access Television Channel 21 or by logging into the Zoom webinar.

  • An agreement with Ralph Andersen & Associates for executive search services for the City Manager position in an amount not-to-exceed $33,000.
  • A consultant services agreement between the City of Carpinteria and the Housing Trust Fund of Santa Barbara County, (HTF) for a three-year term in an amount not to exceed $80,000, for implementation and compliance monitoring of the Workforce Homebuyer Down Payment Loan Program.
  • Establishing Skate Park Operating Hours when the Carpinteria Skate Park is open to the public.
  • Consider Harbor Seal Advisory Committee recommendations and related actions.
  • Consider a request by Moms Demand Action (MDA) concerning City of Carpinteria secure gun storage legislation.
  • Request of the County of Santa Barbara for the City of Carpinteria to contribute $1,411 for a share of the cost of a survey to assess voter preferences related to a tax to support public libraries in Santa Barbara County.
