City Council to meet Jan. 22

The Carpinteria City Council will hold its next regular meeting on Monday, Jan. 22 at 5:30 p.m. Members of the public may attend the meeting at City Hall, 5775 Carpinteria Ave., or view the meeting live at https://carpinteriaca.gov/, on Government Access Television Channel 21 or by logging into the Zoom webinar.

  • Proclamation designating February 2024 as Black History Month.
  • Code Compliance Quarterly Report Q4, 2023.
  • Authorization for the City Council to sign a letter to the County of Santa Barbara Board of Supervisors regarding the County’s Housing Element Update Draft Program Environmental Impact Report.
  • Re-adoption of the 6th Cycle 2023-2031 Housing Element as revised to address comments from the California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD)
  • Presentation on the Carpinteria Shoreline Continuing Authorities Program by U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
  •  Informational report on the City’s Emergency Services Management Program for 2023.
  • 2023 Annual Integrated Pest Management Report.
