City Council to meet Jan. 22

The Carpinteria City Council will hold its next regular meeting on Monday, Jan. 22 at 5:30 p.m. Members of the public may attend the meeting at City Hall, 5775 Carpinteria Ave., or view the meeting live at, on Government Access Television Channel 21 or by logging into the Zoom webinar.

  • Code Compliance Quarterly Report Q4, 2023.
  • Authorization for the City Council to sign a letter to the County of Santa Barbara Board of Supervisors regarding the County’s Housing Element Update Draft Program Environmental Impact Report.
  • Re-adoption of the 6th Cycle 2023-2031 Housing Element as revised to address comments from the California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD)
  • Presentation on the Carpinteria Shoreline Continuing Authorities Program by U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
  •  Informational report on the City’s Emergency Services Management Program for 2023.
