Due to unanticipated impacts related to a bathroom construction project, the Carpinteria Community Library will be partially closed through Thursday, May 29.
All events and programs scheduled to take place at the library have been canceled until full reopening. During the partial closure, patrons can pick up their materials that are on hold, return materials and print using WiFi. The library will be closed for browsing, computer use and work inside the library. WiFi will remain on and patrons can work on the front patio using their own devices.
Contractors expect that ADA-compliant bathroom improvements will be complete and the library ready for reopening on May 30.
