Carpinteria celebrates Women’s History Month

The Carpinteria City Council has officially proclaimed March 2025 as Women’s History Month, joining the nation in honoring the invaluable contributions of women. Recognizing the month’s significance, the Council highlighted the Carpinteria Woman’s Club’s dedicated programming, themed “Women Making Change,” that aims to educate and inspire.

The proclamation acknowledges the vital roles women have played throughout history, from securing suffrage to leading social change movements, and their continued impact in economic, cultural and social spheres. The Council also recognized International Women’s Day on March 8 and celebrates the achievements, courage and strength of women, past and present.
