On Thursday, Oct. 17, the Architectural Review Board will consider Objective Design Standards for Multifamily Residential and Mixed-Use Developments. City staff will present the proposal for a new chapter of the Carpinteria Municipal Code. The proposed standards are part of a larger project to rezone sites in the City to satisfy the City’s 2023-2031 Housing Element Program 1, Adequate Sites to Accommodate Regional Housing Needs Allocation.
The ARB meeting will take place at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall, 5775 Carpinteria Ave. Members of the public may attend the meeting in person or view it live at https://carpinteriaca.gov/, on Government Access Television Channel 21 or by logging into the Zoom webinar.
