April 23-29 is National Library Week

The City of Carpinteria joins library advocates and supporters across the country in recognizing April 23-29 as National Library Week. The Carpinteria City Council elected to recognize this special week for the myriad benefits that libraries offer to their communities. They provide the opportunity for everyone to pursue their passions and engage in lifelong learning. They are accessible and inclusive places that promote a sense of local connection, advancing understanding, civic engagement, and shared community goals. Libraries also promote the free exchange of information and ideas for all. Please follow the library on Facebook and Instagram, and pay us a visit at 5141 Carpinteria Ave. to help us celebrate National Library Week!
