The Carpinteria Community Library will host a fun and free Valentine-making event on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 3 and 4. Ages 4 and up are invited to come craft handmade Valentines in the Community Room at the library, 5141 Carpinteria Ave. Drop by anytime between 1:30 and 4:30 p.m. on Friday or 10 a.m. and noon on Saturday.
