Carpinteria Community Library will host a program for adults and teens with the popular book, “The Artist’s Way.” A program for personal renewal, “The Artist’s Way” will help you rediscover your passions, and take the steps you need to unblock creativity and may be the perfect antidote to pandemic isolation and loss. As author Julia Cameron writes in the book, “The quality of life is in proportion, always, to the capacity for delight. The capacity for delight is the gift of paying attention.” This is a free program for teens and adults, on 12 Thursdays beginning July 14 and taking place from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Weekly gatherings take place at the library at 5141 Carpinteria Ave. Copies of “The Artist’s Way” can be borrowed from the library. Please call 805-684-4314 to let library staff know that you will be attending.
