AgeWell Carpinteria is introducing a new Spanish language program designed to promote emotional well-being and support positive lifestyle changes. PEARLS, which stands for Program to Encourage Active Rewarding Lives, is a free group program that starts on Nov. 12 and will meet every Tuesday from 10:30 a.m. to noon at the Veterans Hall Meeting Room, 941 Walnut Ave. Participants will gain valuable tools to help manage and reduce feelings of sadness and loneliness, improve problem-solving skills and foster meaningful connections with others. The program is being offered in collaboration with the Family Service Agency.
