September is Suicide Prevention Month

September is Suicide Prevention Month, a time for our community to come together and address the critical issue of suicide as a public health concern.

The City of Carpinteria is committed to raising awareness and providing resources to help those struggling with anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges.

We honor the great work being done by Santa Barbara County Department of Behavior Wellness, County Public Health and HopeNet of Carpinteria, and appreciates the resources and services they offer to the Carpinteria community in preventing suicide.

If you are contemplating suicide, please call the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. The 988 Lifeline is available 24/7/365. Your conversations are free and confidential.
