In observance of Labor Day, Carpinteria City Hall, the Carpinteria Community Pool, and the Carpinteria Community Library will be closed on Monday, Sept. 1. Regular business hours will resume for all facilities on Tuesday, Sept. 2.
Labor Day also brings some changes to our beach operations. The City Boat House will open for rentals on Labor Day weekend and then close until next summer. Lifeguards at City Beach will shift into weekend-only duty between Labor Day weekend and the first weekend in October.
