National Public Works Week is an annual observance to celebrate the tens of thousands of individuals who work on public works including infrastructure, facilities and services that are of vital importance to sustainable and resilient communities and to the health, safety, and quality of life all across North America. On May 9, the Carpinteria City Council proclaimed May 15-21 as National Public Works Week in the City of Carpinteria and took the opportunity to thank the City’s Public Works team members for the work they do to keep Carpinteria safe and looking good.
