Have you met DeLayni Millar, our new Environmental Program Specialist?
We are thrilled to have DeLayni on board to assist in all our work coordinating and promoting environmental programs. Working in our Public Works Department, DeLayni will ensure we stay up to date on State and Federal requirements and at the forefront of efforts to protect our land, water and air.
DeLayni comes to the City of Carpinteria with a bachelor’s of science in Wildlife, Fish and Conservation Biology from UC Davis. Prior to joining our team, she put her studies to work as a wildlife biologist, an educational programs manager at a nonprofit, and as an independent consultant conducting stormwater sampling. With all this great experience, she will be an incredible asset to the City of Carpinteria!
