The City of Carpinteria Public Works Department is organizing a group bicycle ride Saturday, May 25 at 11 a.m.! Come out to promote the significance of eco-friendly transportation, physical activity, and the natural beauty of Carpinteria. The planned route, around 5 miles round-trip, will start at the Carpinteria Amtrak Station Parking Lot (499 Linden Avenue), make its way to Santa Claus Lane, and return to Island Brewing Company (5049 6th Street) for food and non-alcoholic drinks. People of all ages are welcome to participate and there is a chance to win a RadWagon 5 e-bike!
