The City of Carpinteria has a new Environmental Program Manager, and she’s a familiar face!
DeLayni Millar has been promoted to the role after nearly a year of serving as the City’s Environmental Program Specialist. DeLayni is the perfect choice to lead Carpinteria’s environmental programs and keep the City at the forefront of efforts to protect our land, water, and air. Her commitment, skills and leadership have been exceptional.
DeLayni brings a strong background to her new position, holding a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife, Fish and Conservation Biology from U.C. Davis. Before joining the City, she gained valuable experience as a wildlife biologist, an educational programs manager at a nonprofit, and a consultant specializing in stormwater sampling.
