The City of Carpinteria is proud to declare September 8-14 as Celebrate Community Week! This week highlights the important work of local service clubs like Lions, Rotary and others. These organizations are joining forces on projects that address key community needs, including health and wellness, food insecurity, education and the environment.
We thank these dedicated volunteers for their tireless efforts. Their partnerships and collaborative spirit are what make our community stronger. The Carpinteria City Council unanimously approved a Celebrate Community Week proclamation at its Sept. 8 meeting and is pictured here with representatives of local service organizations.
