The City Council will not meet on its regularly scheduled evening of Aug. 11 to allow for a short summer break. It is tradition for the governing body to cancel one meeting each summer. The Council’s normal schedule of meetings on the second and fourth Monday of the month will resume on Monday, Aug. 25.
