The City’s Sustainability Division is hoping to update Chapter 8.50 of the municipal code regulating single-use plastics and would like your feedback. This update would include new state laws (AB 1200 and AB 1276), a full polystyrene prohibition, the encouragement of reusable foodware, and the option for food providers to have a takeout fee.
