The Carpinteria City Council honored the Carpinteria Skate Foundation and Two Trumpets Communications with its Community Partner/Business Award for 2022 and 2021 respectively. Skate Foundation volunteers have dedicated several years to bringing a world class skatepark to Carpinteria. Their efforts have involved finding a location, ensuring design and permitting, and raising funds for the skatepark now under construction next to City Hall. Two Trumpets was recognized for its work conducting important community outreach during the pandemic.
