Carpinteria Community Tennis Courts Usage Guidelines

The tennis courts are open to the public free of charge anytime outside of school hours.

Court Availability: The Community Tennis Courts are open to the public during hours when school is not in session.

Court Allocation

  • West Court: This court is designated for pickleball and is available on a first-come, first-served basis. No reservation is required. Free play hours are accessible at any time when school is not in session.
  • East Court: The East Court is exclusively for tennis. The courts are available on a first-come, first-served basis whenever tennis lessons are not in session.

Safety Measures: To mitigate the spread of COVID-19, we kindly request that all players maintain physical distancing while using the courts.

Equipment: Players are responsible for bringing their own equipment. Nets are provided.

Coaching Policy: Coaching on the courts is not permitted unless written permission has been obtained from the City of Carpinteria.

Prohibited Items:
The use of drugs or alcohol is strictly prohibited on the premises.

It is unlawful for any person to suffer or permit any dog owned, harbored, or controlled by him to be on the public beach between Linden Avenue and Ash Avenue whether leashed or unleashed.
