Members of the Carpinteria community are invited to join the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office and leaders of the faith-based community for coffee and a chat on Thursday, Oct. 5, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Carpinteria Moon Cafe, 4991 Carpinteria Ave. This event is part of Faith & Blue Weekend, a national program with activities in communities across the country. Faith & Blue activities are designed to bring together law enforcement and residents to build connections, create mutual understanding, and enhance justice and reconciliation.
