Alcazar Theatre turns 96!

The Carpinteria City Council recognizes the Alcazar Theatre’s 96th anniversary! Built in 1928, the theater has served the community for decades, showcasing movies, concerts and performances by stars like Judy Garland. In 2010, the theater reopened under community nonprofit management, offering concerts, live theater, and a stage for all. The beloved volunteer-run venue invites the community to a free 96th anniversary celebration on Wednesday, April 24 at 5 p.m.
